How a migration works
1. Copy everything first
Full backup of your site, database, and settings before anything moves. The original stays untouched and online.
2. Move and test
We set the site up in its new home and test it end to end — pages, forms, shop, email — while your visitors still use the old one.
3. Switch over cleanly
DNS switch, redirects from every old address, SSL certificate on the new home. Visitors and Google barely notice the move.
Common questions
Will my site go down during the move?
No. The old site stays live until the new one is tested and working. The switchover itself takes minutes.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is done properly. Redirects from every old address to its new equivalent tell Google exactly where everything went — this is a standard part of the job.
What happens to my email?
Email is where DIY migrations most often go wrong. We map out your email setup before the move and make sure @yourdomain addresses keep working throughout.
What does it cost?
A straightforward host or domain move is €250. Platform moves (Wix or Squarespace to WordPress, for example) depend on the amount of content — you get a fixed quote up front.
